Multiway Evo stroller

HannahMultiwayEvo2

I can honestly say the Chicco Multiway Evo is our favourite pushchair out of all we’ve used! It’s a great cross between a travel system buggy and stroller pushchair, and offers the benefits of both.

Cate and Hannah's Multiway Evo stroller review

Hannah enjoys the comfortable ride

The suspension and big, lockable swivel front wheels mean it travels easily across tarmac, grass and even gravelly paths.  Hannah remains comfortable in the seat throughout, even on the most uneven surface. The seat reclines in five positions through a single easy to use mechanism, so it’s suitable from birth.  The leg rest is also adjustable too.

And I love the comfortable drive too!

The foam handles, the suspension and shock absorbers mean it’s really comfortable to push.  For us multi-taskers, it’s also easy to push one handed. The pushchair is strong and heavier than some strollers which makes it ideal for all terrains.

Hannah feels safe and I’m reassured

The five-point safety harness length is adjustable, and can also be inserted into loops on the buggy seat for very small or newborn babies. The hood of the Multiway Evo also has a ‘window’ and zip so you can really easily check on baby.  Finally, the foldable bumper bar across the front of the stroller not only protects Hannah but is great for holding a toy. The reflective detail on the shoulder straps and along the hood offer additional visibility in the dark and mean we’re easily seen.

Useful pockets, big shopping basket and lovely fleece footmuff.

Great storage for baby bits and bobs

Hannah comes on the school run with her big brother every day, and the Multiway Evo has a big shopping basket for everything that comes with us, as well as a couple of useful pockets at the back of the hood that are great for a mobile phone.

Great value too

As standard with the Multiway Evo you get a lovely fleece footmuff that can be zipped apart and used as a seat pad, as well as a rain cover.  I found both really easy to fit.  The rain cover folds up easily and stores in the basket of the buggy when not needed.  Even with the sleeping bag and safety bar on, the pushchair still folds and clips to hold itself closed for easy storage.  And, it all looks great!

Useful carry handle

The Chicco Multiway Evo is such a great strong buggy that will last for ages as its suitable from newborn. This does mean it’s a bit heavier than most strollers, but no way near as heavy as a travel system buggy.  The handle on the side means it can still be carried easily, and I don’t find the weight a problem.

Strong & sturdy

It’s also bigger than other strollers, but again not as big as a travel system.  When folded, it’s a snug fit in the boot of my Ford Focus.  The front wheels remove quickly and easily which means it will fit in smaller car boots.

Great value, comfortable, secure – we love it!

The hood of the buggy is really flexible and moves in lots of different positions to protect from the sun and rain or can be totally removed, but on mine it sometimes unclips itself from the chassis if I move it quickly.  It’s really easy to clip straight back on.

Did it make us smile?

This is a perfect buggy that will last for ages. It’s such great value – it’s secure, easy to use, comfortable for Hannah and me and looks fab too.  Our Happiness Test verdict? We love it, and from the admiring glances it gets, so do others!
